Mark Mazzanti is a founding partner of Del Collo & Mazzanti LLP and has dedicated more than 40 years of practice to workers’ compensation defense litigation on behalf of insurers, claims administrators and large employers.

Mr. Mazzanti’s introduction to Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law began with his judicial clerkship with the late Theodore O. Rogers of the Commonwealth Court. He later gained insight into the claimant’s perspective while serving as an associate at a well-known claimant’s firm before transitioning to staff and senior trial counsel positions with major insurers, where he litigated hundreds of civil actions, including jury trials, as well as defending workers’ compensation claims.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mazzanti has handled thousands of workers’ compensation hearings, mediations, and expert witness depositions, as well as numerous oral arguments before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court.

He is a frequent presenter before the Pennsylvania Bar Institute/Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Conference, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association, and the National Business Institute. He has also presented for the Philadelphia Society for Healthcare Risk Management and PESI, and held scores of training seminars for clients.

Mr. Mazzanti has held numerous leadership roles in the legal community, including serving as Defense Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section in 2017. He is presently a member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association and a member of the Executive Council of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section.

Under Mr. Mazzanti’s guidance, three of his former associates now serve as workers’ compensation judges. Every attorney at Del Collo & Mazzanti shares Mr. Mazzanti’s commitment to excellence in client service.

In recognition of his professional standing, Mr. Mazzanti was certified in 2013 as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
